Fatal Traffic Accident on Barry at East Hardy Toll Road

December 21, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident on Barry at the East Hardy Toll Road about 11:45 p.m. on Friday (Dec. 18).

The victim, Trina Harris, 34, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant S.R. Sorge and Officer R. White reported:

Ms. Harris was driving a blue Toyota Corolla westbound on Barry at a high rate of speed when she ran a stop sign at the intersection of Barry and the East Hardy Toll Road and struck a cement divider wall for the toll road. There were no skid marks leading up to the impact and no other persons or vehicles were involved in the accident.
