Suspects Sought in Fatal Stabbing at 5901 Hillcroft August 4, 2009 - Houston police have released the composite sketches of two suspects wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man at 5901 Hillcroft about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 1). The suspects are described as two Hispanic males. The first is 25 to 35 years of age, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and with a thin build. He has a thin mustache, shoulder length wavy hair, and was wearing a baseball cap. The second is in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, very thin build and shoulder length wavy hair. Both suspects were last seen in an off-colored white or tan older model Toyota Corolla. Composite sketches of both suspects are attached to this news release.
The victim, Vicente Ramirez, 22, of Houston, suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Anthony and Senior Police Officer R. Chappell reported: Mr. Ramirez and two other companions were at a bar at 5901 HIllcroft when they got into a fight with several unknown males. At some point, Ramirez and his two friends were stabbed. Ramirez was killed and his two friends were also taken to Ben Taub General Hospital with multiple stab wounds.
