Fatal Traffic Accident at 2600 Genoa Red Bluff

August 3, 2009 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 2600 block of Genoa Red Bluff about 9:45 p.m. on Friday (July 31). 

The identity of the victim, 21, who was pronounced dead at the scene, is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. 

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Chambers and Officer R. White reported: 

The driver of a black Acura TL was traveling eastbound on Genoa Red Bluff and attempted to pass a slow moving vehicle.  The Acura then struck a blue Suzuki motorcycle traveling westbound on Genoa Red Bluff. The driver of the motorcycle was killed. 

No charges have been filed at this time. 

The investigation is continuing.
