Woman Found Deceased at 7900 Santa Elena

April 20, 2009 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found next to the bayou at 7900 Santa Elena about 7:55 p.m. Friday (April 17).

The female victim’s body was found deceased. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine her identification and cause of death.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants O. Chandler and J. Rubio reported:

Homicide investigators were called to the 7900 block of Santa Elena.  Children playing in the rain near the bayou found something covered with a blanket.  They came closer and observed the victim’s body.  Further investigation is pending results of the autopsy.
