Investigation Into Man's Death at 27323 Huffman Cleveland Road

April 14, 2009 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 27323 Huffman Cleveland Road about 3:30 a.m. today.

The identity and cause of death of the victim, 77, is pending a ruling by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Senior Police Officer X. Avila reported:

The Houston Fire Department responded to a house fire this morning, in which three of the four persons inside escaped.  The male victim, believed to be the homeowner, was found dead inside the residence.

HFD arson officials are investigating.
