Investigation Into Infant's Death at 10919 Fondren

April 10, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the death of an infant at 10919 Fondren about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday (Apr. 9).

The one-month old baby boy was taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The cause of death is pending a ruling by the Houston Medical Examiner’s Office.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Police Officers D. K. Gunter and R. P. Houghton reported:

Medical personnel told investigators there were no obvious signs of abuse found on the infant.

The investigation is continuing.
