Investigation Into Shooting of a Male at 4510 Alvin

April 2, 2009 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male at 4510 Alvin at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday (Apr. 1).

The victim, 22, was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital where his condition remains unknown.  His identity is being withheld pending notification of his family.

HPD Homicide Division Police Officer J. F. Robles reported:

The victim was visiting the suspect at his house when the suspect brought out a handgun and shot the victim in the head.  The shooting may have been accidental.

The investigation is continuing.
