Double Shooting at 8080 Creekbend

September 12, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 8080 Creekbend about 9:20 p.m. on Thursday (September 11).

The first victim, Roger Morris, 27, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The second victim, Kirtrell Morris, 26, also of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Both men were transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. M. Cegielski and Officer B. W. Nabors reported:

Roger and Kirtrell Morris were parked in the parking lot of the Mesa Ridge Apartments at 8080 Creekbend when they were approached by an unknown suspect who shot at them several times.

The suspect is described only as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a heavy build, dark skin and long dread locks.
