Business Employee Fatally Shoots Suspect at 7505 Southwest Freeway September 09, 2008 - The fatal shooting of a man at 7505 Southwest Freeway about 6:50 p.m. on Monday (September 8) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury. The male victim, a robbery suspect, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Officer J. Rodriguez reported: The suspect entered the I-Wireless T-Mobile store at 7505 Southwest Freeway in an attempt to rob the employees of the store. While pointing his pistol at two store employees, the suspect was confronted by a third employee, a concealed handgun license owner. At some point, there was an exchange of gunfire and the suspect was shot. The investigation is continuing. VHS/JFC
