Fatal Traffic Accident at 9600 Hempstead Road November 17, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 9600 block of Hempstead Road about 2:25 a.m. on Saturday (Nov. 15). The identity of the male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer R. White reported: The victim was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle when the bike veered to the center of the road where it struck a curb and then a tree in the median. The victim was ejected from the motorcycle and killed. The investigation is continuing. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. |
