Fatal Shooting at 10522 Beechnut

July 21, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10522 Beechnut about 8:05 p.m. on Saturday (July 19).

The victim, Damon Clement, 32, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants E. Cisneros and C. Howard reported:

Officers were called to the Coral Gables apartments on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a gray Pontiac Bonneville on the parking lot with several bullet holes through the front windshield. Upon closer examination, they found the male victim slumped over the steering wheel.

There are no known witnesses or suspects at this time.
