Man Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4011 Lumber July 3, 2008 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 4011 Lumber about 11:30 a.m. last Saturday (June 28). The suspect, Christopher Keith Jackson (b/m, DOB: 7-16-82), is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Carlos Jerome Nash, 26 years of age. Mr. Nash suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to an area hospital where he later died. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Parker and Senior Police Officer R.P. Martinez reported: Mr. Nash was in front of a vacant house on 4011 Lumber when he was confronted by an unknown suspect. At some point during the confrontation the suspect shot Nash and then ran west on Bennington. Further investigation identified Christopher Jackson as the suspect in this incident and he was arrested about 8 a. m. today (July 3) in the 2400 block of Lake Kingwood Trail without incident.
