Investigation Into Shooting at 7298 Kings Gate Circle

December 29, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 7298 Kings Gate Circle about 4:40 a.m. today.

The victim, 14, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Wyers and Senior Police Officer R.P. Martinez reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex and found the victim lying in front of an apartment with a gunshot wound to his chest.  Paramedics transported the male to the hospital.

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects in the incident.
