Fatal Traffic Accident at 8000 Cullen Boulevard December 08, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 8000 block of Cullen Boulevard about 12:10 a.m. on Sunday (Dec. 7). The male victim, 78, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold and Officer J. Lin reported: The victim was driving a green Ford Focus southbound in the 8000 block of Cullen when he struck a horse trotting northbound in the left lane. The horse struck the front end of the Ford and rolled across the top while the top peeled off. The horse was deceased behind the vehicle. The investigation is continuing. VHS/JC
