Investigation into Infant’s Death at 11355 Richmond Avenue December 03, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a baby girl at 11355 Richmond Avenue found about 5 a.m. today (Dec. 3). The victim, Journie M. Wofford, seven months old, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Brooks and Senior Police Officer M. Waters reported: Investigators were called to scene of an infant found dead in her family’s apartment at 11355 Richmond. They did not observe any visible signs of injury to the baby and no evidence of foul play was present at the scene. The investigation is continuing, pending results of the autopsy. JFC/VHS
