Investigation into Man’s Death at 1915 Windsor #5 December 02, 2008 - Autopsy results of a man found dead in his home at 1915 Windsor about 4:45 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 1) indicate his death was accidental. Leslie M. Marenchin, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene. He had suffered trauma to the back of his head. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.M. Cegielski and Officer J.T. Barringer reported: Friends found Mr. Marenchin deceased at the bottom of a stairway to his apartment. He had suffered a head injury as a result of falling down the stairs and landing on a tile floor. There were no signs of a struggle and the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death due to an accident. JFC/VHS |
