Infant Death Investigation at 1401 St. Joseph Parkway August 25, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an infant at 1401 St. Joseph Parkway about 9:10 p.m. last Friday (August 22). The 5-day old male infant was transported by private vehicle to St. Joseph’s Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Dillingham and Officer C. Sturdivant reported: At about 7:30 p.m. the infant was at his residence at 306 Wafer and had labored breathing problems. The child’s mother and several family members then took the infant to the hospital. An autopsy will be performed by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact cause of the baby’s death. |
