Auto/Pedestrian Fatality at 11400 Bellaire Boulevard August 11, 2008 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 11400 block of Bellaire Boulevard about 11:05 p.m. on Saturday (August 9). The male pedestrian, Truc Van Tran, 43, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Morgan and Officer J. Garcia reported: Mr. Tran was attempting to cross the roadway in the 11400 block of Bellaire Boulevard when he was struck by a gray Nissan Sentra traveling westbound. It is believed neither speed nor alcohol was a factor in this incident. The investigation is continuing. |
