Incident at 12400 Brookglade Circle

September 19, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 12400 Brookglade Circle about 3:15 a. m. today (September 19).

The victim, 18, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant F. Flores and Officer B. D. Evans reported:
The deceased victim was discovered, by a resident, lying in the parking lot of the New Leaf Townhomes with a gunshot wound. The resident then called police.

There are no known witnesses at this time.
