Incident at 3388 Old Spanish Trail October 13, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the aggravated assault of a man at 3388 Old Spanish Trail about 11:50 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 13). The victim’s identity is unknown at this time. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Shirley and Officers E. Carstens and R. Trevino reported: The victim and a second male, identified as Mr. Savoy, were at the above location when two suspects approached them armed with weapons. The suspects were in the process of taking Savoy’s vehicle when one of the suspects shot the victim in the head. The suspects then fled the scene in Savoy’s vehicle. Mr. Savoy was not injured during the robbery. The suspects, described only as two black males, are in a 2001 four-door burgundy Cadillac Deville with Texas license plate #590XBW.
