4th Update on Incident at 6122 Belcrest ** Surveillance Video Released ** November 21, 2007 - Houston police homicide investigators have released surveillance video and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of three people found after a fire at 6122 Belcrest about 11:15 p.m. on November 12. Investigators obtained photos of the suspects purchasing items, including a red gas container matching the one found at the crime scene, from a convenience store prior to the house fire and fatal shooting of Elaine Foster, 42, Barbara Bailey, 45, and Jerome Perkins, 50. The suspects are described only as two black males. One is heavy set, wearing a gray pullover shirt with white stripes and a black baseball cap. The second suspect is wearing a black and gray long sleeved jacket or sweater with a white T-shirt underneath. He has dark jeans with a distinct emblem on the back pockets of the pants and is wearing a white baseball cap. The suspects are believed to have left the location in a white 4-door vehicle with chrome rims. Surveillance video from the convenience store where the gas can was purchased is available for pick up at 1200 Travis, Media Relations office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. McStravick, W. Anthony and Officers E. Cisneros, J. Robles and R. Chappell reported: HFD firefighters responded to a fire at the location and discovered the deceased victims inside the residence. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and observed a white four-door car leaving the area. It is believed the fire was purposely set in order to conceal evidence of the shooting.
