2nd Update on Incident at 6400 Springhaven Drive November 11, 2007 - A suspect wanted and charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 6400 Springhaven Drive on Friday (Nov. 2) has been arrested. The suspect, Dante Bernard Jackson (b/m, DOB: 8-4-86), charged with murder in the 184th State District Court, was arrested on Saturday (Nov. 10). He is accused in the killing of Vincent Derrell Joseph, 22, of 16802 Vandergrift, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Officers R.P. Martinez and C. L. Scales reported: Mr. Joseph was in his neighborhood driving to work when he stopped to talk to Jackson, who was in another vehicle. Jackson shot Joseph as he (Joseph) sat in the driver’s seat of his vehicle. Jackson was seen fleeing the scene in a dark four-door, Buick Skylark or Century. He was last seen entering the Haverstock Hills Apartment complex at 5619 Aldine Bender.
