Incident at 6400 Springhaven Drive November 3, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6400 Springhaven Drive about 7:50 a.m. on Friday (Nov. 2). The victim, Vincent Derrell Joseph, 22, of 16802 Vandergrift, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Officers R.P. Martinez and C. Scales reported: Mr. Joseph was in his neighborhood driving to work when he stopped to talk to the suspect, who was in another vehicle. The suspect shot Joseph as he (Joseph) sat in the driver’s seat of his vehicle. The suspect was seen fleeing the scene in a four-door, Buick Skylark or Century, dark blue in color. He was last seen entering the Haverstock Hills Apartment Complex at 5619 Aldine Bender. The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 140 to 160 pounds, with a medium build and complexion and a two inch afro. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jean shorts (just below the knee).
