Incident at 3316 Desoto May 25, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile at 3316 Desoto about 12:55 p.m. on Thursday (May 24). The male victim, 14, suffered a gunshot wound to the upper torso and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and is in stable condition. His identity is being withheld at this time. HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Dillingham and T. Huynh reported: The suspect was being assaulted by a group of juvenile males at 3316 Desoto when he managed to obtain a gun and shot the victim once in the chest. It was determined that the victim was an innocent bystander, who was watching the altercation. The suspect fled the scene.
