Incident at 1500 North Loop

May 2, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 1500 North Loop about 2 p.m. on Tuesday (May 1).

The victim, possibly 30 to 40 years of age, suffered multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Gonzalez and Officer R.W. Chappell reported:

The victim was found deceased inside a room at the Western Inn. The room appeared to have been ransacked and robbery appeared to be a possible motive.
