Incident at 5434 Lawndale

March 9, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5434 Lawndale, today (March 3) about 12:25 a.m.

The victim’s identity is pending notification of next of kin. He sustained gunshot wounds to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer B.D. Evans reported:

A person discovered a male lying in the parking lot of Stephanie’s Ice House. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head. There are no known witnesses to the shooting.
