Incident at 12867 Westmere
January 24, 2007 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12867
Westmere about 1 a.m. today (January 24).
The victim, Mark William Hunn, 44, of 12863 Westmere,
suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest
Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Officers B.D. Evans and
T.R. Cunningham reported:
HPD officers responded to a shooting call at
12867 Westmere and found Mr. Hunn lying on the ground in front
of this residence. He lived next door to where he was found and
his truck was missing from the driveway. Mr. Hunn’s truck,
a green and beige 2002 supercrew Ford F150 pickup, was found later
in the day in a field located in the 15000 block of Blueridge
along the Beltway service road.
Witnesses reported seeing the suspects leaving
the location in their own vehicle and the victim’s truck.
One suspect was described as an unknown male,
about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds. He
was wearing all black clothing, including a jacket, pants and
a knit cap. There is no description of the second suspect.
The suspects’ vehicle is described as a
white, late 1980s to early 90s four-door car, possibly a midsized
Mercury.
