HPD officers were called to a shooting incident
at 9618 Marlive Lane. When officers arrived they found evidence
from the shooting but learned that Mr. Baez had been transported
to the hospital where he died upon arrival. It appears that Mr.
Baez had been involved in an on-going dispute with the suspect’s

pair got into an argument. The argument resulted in a shooting
and both males were struck.
The injured suspect fled on foot to a location
nearby where the police and medical personnel were called. Officers
learned that this second call involved the suspect of the shooting
at Marlive Lane. He was transported to the hospital and it was
last reported that he went into surgery with a gunshot wound to
the abdomen.
