Incident at 4119 Barberry

January 2, 2007 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a child at 4119 Barberry #202 about 8 a.m. on Monday (January 1).

The victim, Kendrick Carr, 10 months, of 4119 Barberry #202, was taken to Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer X. Avila reported:

Baby Kendrick Carr was asleep with his parents and an older sibling on the couch at their residence. His parents woke up about 8 a.m. and found Kendrick unresponsive.
