Incident at 11810 Algonquin
February 24, 2007 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11810
Algonquin about 11:50 p.m. on Monday (February 19).
The victim’s identity is pending notification
to family members by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s
office. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head and died on Friday
(February 23) at Ben Taub General Hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants D. Crain and
R. Odum reported:
The victim was sitting in his car listening to
the radio when he was robbed then shot by the suspects. The victim
had an undisclosed amount of money missing. He was taken to a
local hospital where he died a few days later.
The suspects are described only as three black
males in a possible Toyota Sequoia sports utility vehicle.
