Incident at 1082 Junell December 29, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 1082 Junell about 4:45 a.m. on Friday (December 28). The male victim suffered burns and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s office. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cruz Jr. and Officer T. A. Andrade reported: HFD personnel responded to 1082 Junell in regards to a house fire. After putting out the fire, HFD personnel searched the residence and found the victim’s body. HPD Homicide investigators and members of the Arson Bureau were called to the scene and during their investigation, determined the victim had been assaulted and his vehicle was missing from the scene.
