Incident at 7200 Seville December 9, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and woman in an apparent murder-suicide at 7200 Seville about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 8). The female victim, Paula Ann Perez, 18, of 5709 Brettshire suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect, Perez’s boyfriend, Manuel Joseph Demouchet (b/m, DOB 3-9-88), of 7207 Seville suffered a gunshot wound. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Lorenzana and Officer R. Trevino reported: Several family members of the suspect (Demouchet) received phone calls from him throughout Saturday evening in which he voiced his intentions of killing his girlfriend and himself. Demouchet’s sister spoke with him on his cell phone and discovered he was outside her (sister’s) residence on Seville. During their conversation, Demouchet warned his sister not to come outside or he would kill his girlfriend and himself. Demouchet’s sister went outside to see what was going on and noticed Demouchet and his girlfriend sitting inside his vehicle. Seconds later, Demouchet’s sister heard gunshots. Another one of Demouchet’s sisters ran to the car and opened the passenger side door to find the two had been shot. Family members called for an ambulance and, soon after, paramedics pronounced both Ms. Perez and Demouchet dead at the scene.
