Incident at 6262 Underhill August 15, 2007 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6262 Underhill about 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday (August 14). The victim, Moses Dewayne Thomas, 24, of 6262 Underhill #1703, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Officers E.R. Carstens and B.D. Evans reported: Mr. Thomas walked outside his apartment to talk to an unknown black male and a few minutes later a gunshot was heard. The same black male was seen running away from the scene after the shooting. The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. He has short hair and a goatee with a medium complexion. He was wearing a white tank top T-shirt, light colored shorts and a red hat.
