3rd Update on Incident at 10198 Kleckley August 6, 2007 - Charges has been filed against a second suspect arrested in the capital murder of a man at 10198 Kleckley Drive about 9 a.m. on July 19. The second suspect, Servando Romero Morales (H/m, DOB: 12/9/74), and Israel Antonio Torres (H/m, DOB: 1-15-79), are charged with capital murder in the 176th State District Court. They are accused in the killing of Gary Wayne Johnson, 59, who suffered trauma to the back of the head and died at the scene. HPD Homicide Division Officers D.R. Shorten and S. Straughter reported: Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call of a man not breathing and discovered Mr. Johnson on the loading dock of a vacant business. Johnson was known to carry a wallet, however one was not found at the scene. The follow-up investigation identified Torres as a suspect in this case and he was arrested on Monday (July 23) at his residence without incident.
