Incident at 10110 Sugarbranch
September 17, 2006 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10110
Sugarbranch about 2:45 a.m. today (Sept. 17).
Investigators are seeking the public's help in
identifying the victim who sustained multiple gunshot wounds to
the chest and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where
he died. He is a black male, 18-20 years of age and has a tattoo
of a cross and the name "Jarvis" on his shoulder.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants B. Harris and
M. Scott reported:
According to witnesses, the victim was getting
out of a white or gray Buick LeSabre with his hands up as if pleading
for his life when numerous shots were heard. He stumbled to the
curb and collapsed. A motive for the shooting is unknown at this
time.
