Incident at 5500 Antoine #16

October 25, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 5500 Antoine #16 about 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday (October 24).

The victim's identity and cause of death are pending an autopsy from the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He appeared to have suffered blunt trauma to the head.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant E. Gonzalez and Officer R.W. Chappell reported:

HPD Officers responded to a person down call after the maintenance man at 5500 Antoine found the victim's body in a vacant apartment. He had head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
