Incident at 7402 Calhoun

October 21, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7402 Calhoun about 1:20 a.m. today (October 21).

The victim, a black male, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical'Examiner*s office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Officer T.A. Andrade reported:

HPD Officers responded to a drive-by shooting call at 7402 Calhoun and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. HFD paramedics arrived but were unable to save the victim who died at the scene. Witnesses reported seeing the victim struggle with two black males before hearing multiple gunshots. The two black males and a black female were seen fleeing the location in an orange 2005 or 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt.
