Traffic Incident at 11600 Northwest Freeway

October 14, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic at 11600 Northwest Freeway service road about 1:40 a.m. today (Oct. 14).

The victim is identified as Carlos Villagas, 34.

HPD Mobility Incident Management Division Sergeant S. Sorge and Officer S. Martinez reported:

Mr. Villagas was driving a BMW 325 convertible southbound on the Northwest Freeway when he lost control of the vehicle, which crossed the grassy shoulder onto the service road, struck a guardrail and rolled over. He was ejected from the vehicle, suffered massive head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
