Incident at 9902 Gulf Freeway #142

November 21, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9902 Gulf Freeway #142 on November 21, 2006 at 3:45 a.m.

The victim's identity is pending notification to next of kin. He sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer P. Yochum reported:

The victim was shot when answering the door to his hotel room. Witnesses stated that they heard four to five gunshots and observed the victim lying on the walkway in a pool of blood.
