Incident at 812 West Cavalcade
November 4, 2006 -- Houston
police are investigating the shooting of a man at 812 West Cavalcade
about 10:30 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 3).
The victim is identified as Felix Gutierrez of
4538 Pecan Park. He sustained a gunshot wound to the back and
was transported, by private vehicle, to Memorial Hermann Northwest
Hospital in an unknown condition.

R. Cervantes reported:
According to witnesses, Mr. Gutierrez pulled
into the gas station at 812 West Cavalcade to buy gas and soon
got into an argument with several Hispanic males
who were standing near several vehicles. The dispute continued
and Gutierrez returned to his vehicle in an effort to leave. As
he entered his vehicle, one of the suspects approached him from
behind and shot him once in the back. The suspect and the other
males then entered two vehicles and fled. Mr. Gutierrez was able
to drive away from the scene, however, began to lose consciousness
a short distance away. His girlfriend, who was inside of the vehicle,
then drove the remaining distance to the hospital.
The suspects are described only as several Hispanic
males driving a 1994-1995 white Ford Thunderbird and a light blue
four-door Ford Taurus.
