Incident at 7000 England

November 3, 2006 -- Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested for the kidnapping and sexual assault of a juvenile at 7000 England about 10 p.m. on Tuesday (October 31).

The suspect, identified as Brian P. Davis (w/m, DOB 3/26/84), of New York, is charged with sexual assault of a child in the 185th State District Court. He was arrested by deputies of the Reeves County Sheriff's Department in Balmorhea, Texas and is awaiting extradition to Houston.

The victim remained in the care of the Reeves County Sheriff's Department until family arrived.

HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Vasquez and J. Selvera reported:

The victim's parents reported her missing on Wednesday (November 1). Officers learned that the suspect traveled to Houston from New York, by bus, to meet the victim. They were travelling to California when they were stopped by the deputies. The Federal Bureau of Investigation assisted in locating the suspect and the juvenile.
