Incident at 7400 London

November 2, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 7400 London about 7:45 a.m. today (Nov. 2).

The victim is identified as Rhonda Kay Walker, 40, of 806 Elm Grove Road in Seguin. Her cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.J. Brooks and Officer M.F. Waters reported:

HPD officers were flagged down by a citizen who discovered the body of a female lying in a ditch along London Road. Ms. Walker was identified by a Texas Identification card found in her pocket. There were no obvious signs of trauma to her body, which appeared to have been dumped at the location.
