Incident at 11505 Keegans Ridge

March 31, 2006 -- Houston police are awaiting results of an autopsy on a two-year-old boy after he stopped breathing at his home at 11505 Keegans Ridge about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday (Mar. 29).

The victim, Keandre Banks, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Grysen and Officer T. Hufstedler reported:

HFD paramedics were called to 11505 Keegans Ridge regarding a child who had stopped breathing. The child was in his bed when he was found not breathing. Paramedics initiated CPR and transported the boy to the hospital.

The Harris County Medical Examiner's office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
