Update on Incident at 1701 Upland

March 17, 2006 -- Houston police have learned the identity of a man fatally shot at 1701 Upland on March 12, 2006 about 2:20 a.m.

The victim has been identified as Kevin Miller, 20, of 5201 Market #908. He suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.T. Parker and Officer R.A. Moreno reported:

HPD officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex and found the victim lying on the ground at the back of the complex. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.
