Incident at 6161 Reims
March 13, 2006 -- The search
for a missing man ends when his body is discovered in his car
at 6161 Reims on Sunday, March 12, 2006 about 6 p.m.
Houston Police Department Homicide Sergeant J.T.
Wyers and Officer T.S. Tyler reported that officers were called
to the parking lot of the Summerhill Apartments regarding a foul
odor coming from a vehicle. The victim, 34-year-old Jose Jesus
Alvarado of 1540 Gessner, and his vehicle were reported missing
on Friday, March 10, 2006 by his sister.
Residents at the apartment complex believe the
vehicle, a 1994 Green Ford Mustang, has been in the parking lot
since Friday. The Harris County Medical Examiner's office will
conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
