Incident at 3936 Old Spanish Trail
March 10, 2006 -- Houston police
are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3936 Old Spanish
Trail about 2:45 a.m. today (Mar. 10).
The victim's identity is pending an autopsy by
the Harris County Medical
Examiner's office.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.W. McStravick
and Officer B.D. Evans reported:
An HPD officer was on routine patrol in the 3900
block of Old Spanish Trail (OST) when a citizen stopped him to
report a male had been shot multiple times. The victim apparently
had been on the parking lot of 3936 OST and was chased down the
block by an unknown suspect(s) who shot him several times. He
was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced
dead.
