Incident at 6771 West Branch

June 2, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 6771 West Branch about 12:05 a.m. today (June 2).

The victim, identified as Andre Mayberry, 15, of 6771 West Branch #3205, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L. Flores and Officer T.R. Cunningham reported:

The victim was found on the parking lot of his apartment complex. Witnesses said he was shot by unknown black male suspects who fled on foot. It is possible one witness knows the identity of one of the suspects.
