Incident at 12000 Fleming
July 23, 2006 -- Houston Police
homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of a
male at 12000 Fleming on July 23, 2006.

report:
On July 23, 2006, at approximately 1:30 p.m.,
the victim, whose identity is being withheld pending notification
of family members, was riding a bicycle in the parking lot of
an apartment complex. For unknown reasons, two individuals riding
in a vehicle began chasing him. The victim dropped his bike and
fled on foot, however, a male suspect exited the vehicle and shot
the victim multiple times. The victim collapsed between two vehicles
and died at the scene.
The suspect's vehicle is an older model, possibly
1990's vintage, four-door gray Dodge Intrepid or Stratus. The
vehicle has tinted windows and the paint appears to be faded from
the sun. This vehicle was last seen being driven by a black female
with long hair.
The suspect who shot the victim is described
only as a black male.
The investigation into this incident continues.
