Incident at 9955 South Main
July 22, 2006 -- Houston Police
homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of a
male victim at 9955 South Main on July 22, 2006.

report:
On July 22, 2006, at approximately 2:00 a.m.,
the victim, whose identity is being withheld at this time, was
involved in a disturbance with another male at a local nightclub.
The victim and the suspect left the club parking lot and continued
the argument in the street near the intersection of South Main
and Loop 610 South Freeway. This argument escalated into a physical
fight and moved from the street into the parking lot of the What-a-burger
restaurant. During the fight, the suspect produced a handgun and
shot the victim multiple times.
The victim was transported to Ben Taub hospital
by HFD where he was later pronounced dead.
The suspect, accompanied by three other black
males, fled the scene in a small, dark colored, four-door vehicle.
The investigation into this incident continues.
