Incident at 12108 Troulon

July 18, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a woman at 12108 Troulon about 2 p.m. on Monday (July 17).

The victim, Brenda Ekwunoh, 39, of 12108 Troulon, was found deceased inside her home. The Harris County Medical Examiner's office will determine the cause of death as there were no apparent wounds to her body.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.O. Scott and Officer T.S. Tyler reported:

The victim was speaking to a family member over the phone late Sunday afternoon, (July 16) when she responded to a knock at her door from an unknown person, ending the phone call. A family member came to the victim's residence on Monday (July 17) in the early afternoon and knocked at her door. When there was no answer, the family member forced the door open and found the victim deceased inside the residence.
